As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our Quality Team based in Lithuania and inviting a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and contribute to maintaining exceptional standards, ensuring compliance and fostering strong partnerships with our local and international production partners.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters with production partners, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct on-site inspections of production facilities in Lithuania and other international locations to ensure compliance with established quality standards and project requirements.
- Identify quality issues, collaborate with production partners to implement corrective actions, and monitor the effectiveness of these improvements.
- Evaluate products and processes to ensure alignment with company quality standards and specific project needs.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive inspection reports in English, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Propose and implement initiatives to enhance product quality, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain meticulous records of all quality inspections, findings, and corrective actions to support traceability and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential quality issues effectively.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for preparing detailed reports and communicating with international partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan and prioritize inspection visits, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- A responsible and proactive work ethic, coupled with strongproblem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to various international locations.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personalvehicle for local travel.
