Production engineer
We’re looking for bold thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and driven professionals who want to leave a mark on the skyline — and on the future.
At Dextall, we don’t just build – we revolutionize. Our mission is to transform how commercial building exteriors are designed and constructed across the United States by blending cutting-edge technology with sustainable innovation.
With teams in the USA, Lithuania and Latvia, we’re a powerhouse of engineering, tech, and architectural minds developing high-performance façade systems through our proprietary Building Information Modeling (BIM) platform. It’s the only one of its kind – crafted to slash time, cost, and environmental impact for our partners and clients.
The Role: PRODUCTION ENGINEER
As we scale our operations, we’re on the lookout for a Production engineer to join our dynamic Production engineering team.
In this role you will be developing accurate 3D models and production documentation based on design drawings, ensuring that all elements meet technical, quality and manufacturing requirements.
You will be working closely with design teams and manufacturers, reviewing and interpreting 2D shop drawings, converting them into precise 3D models and extracting essential data for fabrication. On top of that, you will be coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, resolving technical issues, and maintaining clear communication with the production facility.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Prepare production drawings and technical documentation.
Develop technical specifications for the purchasing team.
Create and manage parametric 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
Develop and maintain iLogic rules to automate design and production processes.
Collaborate with external manufacturing partners and ensure smooth transfer of technical information.
Maintain and improve digital workflows to avoid repeating work in future projects.
Participate in post-project “lessons learned” reviews.
Contribute to the development of Dextall design systems by proposing and implementing improvements.
Support the development of technical catalogs and participate in system research and testing.
Work closely with internal and external design teams to deliver efficient engineering solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with at least 3 years of experience (preferably in facade engineering).
Strong expertise in Autodesk Inventor, including parametric modeling and iLogic.
Experience in preparing fabrication and installation drawings.
Good knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, especially metal bending.
Strong/sharp attention to detail in technical drawings.
Ability to work independently and manage project-related tasks.
Good English communication skills.
Beneficial attributes:
Autodesk Inventor ILogic programming knowledge.
Autodesk Revit knowledge.
Experience in steel frame and static component calculation.
