As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our Team based in Lithuania and inviting a Logistics Coordinator to join our team and contribute to ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, our suppliers, manufacturing partners, and clients across multiple markets.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and track all incoming and outgoing shipments - 20–30 international container shipments per month (sea, land, intermodal) - scheduling, booking, and monitoring in real time.
- Ensure smooth door-to-door delivery from factories in the EU to job sites in the US.
- Act as the main contact for job sites, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clients regarding delivery schedules, changes, and real-time updates.
- Book and monitor shipments with freight forwarders and track them.
- Develop and maintain a shipment tracking system for full visibility of logistics operations.
- Verify and process logistics-related invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Collaborate with customs brokers and prepare/export/import documentation for clearance.
- Handle tariff payments, invoice checks, and approvals.
- Organize 3rd-party storage when shipments cannot go directly to site and avoid storage penalty fees.
- Troubleshoot logistics challenges (delays, port issues, last-minute reroutes).
- Keep accurate shipment records and provide regular status/cost reports to management.
- Optimize logistics workflows to reduce costs and increase reliability, maintain competitive shipping options.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Strong understanding of customs clearance, freight forwarding, and invoice management.
- Excellent coordination and multitasking skills, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or similar.
- 2–4 years’ experience coordinating international shipments (containerized preferred).
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills (internal teams, vendors, job sites).
- Fluency in English and Lithuanian languages (required).
- Proficiency with shipment tracking tools and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to occasionally work during early US site hours (email-based coordination).
