As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our Research and development engineering Team based in Lithuania and Latvia and inviting a Structural Engineer to join our team.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather project related loads using relative design codes compliant with project specification.
Perform structural calculations for facade panels, brackets, anchors, and connections using relative design codes.
Verify solution compliance against relative design codes and project specification.
Assist third party submissions (help prepare task ensuring data accuracy, review and comment provided reports).
Gather library of analysis for reuse in feature tasks.
Develop templates or rules for daily task optimization and quality improvements.
Provide structural input during early design and concept phases to prevent late-stage rework.
Collaborate with Concept Engineers on structurally complex solutions (PMU, non-standard configurations).
Participate in buildability reviews and inspect structural checks compliance during design reviews.
Contribute to R&D feasibility studies requiring structural performance assessment.
Advise Design Engineers and Design Managers on structural constraints, limits, and compliance requirements.
Lead internal sessions to build team knowledge of related design standards and codes, materials or fixing sets behavior and etc.
Shear knowledge with the team of specific topics like software related tips, FEM or analytical analysis tricks and code application.
Produce clear, traceable structural calculation reports aligned to relative project scope.
For daily tasks use Dextall’s templates and rules if available.
Report structural risks and open items to Design Managers within project coordination cycles.
Ensure all structural documentation meets internal standards and 3rd party requirements.
Evaluate and inform direct manager of the limitations within daily tools and provide solutions for improvements (new standards, books, software).
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
Proficiency in FEM software (RISA, Dlubal, Nastran, or equivalent).
Strong Excel/Word and structural calculation documentation.
Understanding of thin gauge section analysis and nonlinear material behavior, composite sections.
Familiarity with Americas standards and building codes.
Familiarity with metric and imperial units.
Languages: Proficient in English (written and verbal).
Additional: Experience with aluminum and steel facade connections preferred.

Competitive salary starts from 3300 EUR to 4630 EUR gross, and the final salary will be offered depending on your experience.
