As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our Finance Team based in Lithuania and inviting a Senior Accountant to join our team.
As our Senior Accountant in Vilnius, you'll be the financial backbone of our Lithuanian entity, working directly with our CFO and Accounting Manager in the U.S. to keep our books accurate, our reporting timely, and our controls tight. This isn't a back-office maintenance role — you'll have real visibility into a fast-scaling international operation, contribute to process-building from the ground up, and see your work matter. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Core accounting — Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; support month-end and year-end close.

• AP/AR — Process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, issue customer and intercompany invoices, monitor collections, and reconcile accounts.

• Banking — Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, monitor daily cash, and support cash flow reporting.

• Project & manufacturing accounting — Track project costs, support inventory and WIP reporting, analyze profitability and cost variances.

• Intercompany & reporting — Record intercompany transactions, assist with consolidation schedules, and prepare monthly management reporting packages for local and group requirements.

• Compliance — Ensure adherence to Lithuanian accounting and tax regulations, handle VAT reporting, and maintain audit documentation.

• Operations support — Collaborate with the COO and local team to improve processes and maintain the Lithuanian documentation system.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• 5-7+ years of accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience performing account reconciliations and month-end close activities.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

  
  Nice to have:
  Background in manufacturing, construction, or project-based environments;
  experience with international or multinational companies;
  knowledge of IFRS and Lithuanian regulations;
  familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred);
  exposure to intercompany accounting, multi-entity consolidation, and audit support.
